Guidelines for literary and artistic contribution to মাতৃকা (Matrika)

For English articles, short stories, articles, poems, etc.:

Format: Microsoft Word compatible document

Typed, Double-spaced

Max number of words (for articles and short stories): 1000 (2 pages)

Max number of lines (for poems): 35 (including line breaks)

Please send as an email attachment to Soma Mukhopadhyay at soma.mukhopadhyay.08@gmail.com

For Bengali articles, short stories, poems, etc.:

	Font: Adarshalipi (if Adarshalipi is not used please mention name of font used).
	Format: Microsoft Word compatible document (if Adarshalipi font is not used, please send a pdf version as well)
	Typed, Double-spaced
	Max number of words (for articles and short stories): 1000 (2 pages)
	Max number of lines (for poems): 35 (including line breaks)
	Hand-written manuscript will be accepted if a clean and legible scanned copy is sent
	Please send as an email attachment to Soma Mukhopadhyay at soma.mukhopadhyay.08@gmail.com

For Artwork:

	Original artwork, photographs submissions will be accepted.
	Should be scanned in black and white or color, checked for quality of reproducibility

General Information:

	Only one submission per person will be considered for review
	Please write your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address on the e-mail
	For young contributors please mention, Grade, School and City
	Deadline for submission for Bangamela 2010 Commemorative Issue: For Bengali hand-written manuscript: March 15, 2010 For typed English, Bengali and scanned artwork: March 31, 2010
